Terms of service
Draft. The owner fills the red fields and has it reviewed before launch.
These terms are between you and owner: legal entity, address ("we") for the use of Mobilebox: the website, the API, MCP server, SDK and CLI, and the phones they run.
1. The service
We run Android phones on our servers that you control over the API. The service is in beta: features change, phones can fail to start, and we give no uptime guarantee. Data on a phone can be lost; keep your own copies of anything that matters.
2. Your account and keys
You need an account and must be at least 18 or act for a business. Keep your API keys secret; you are responsible for what is done with them. Revoke a key you think is exposed.
3. Credit and prices
New accounts get $2 of free credit. Running phones cost the price on the pricing page, billed per second from the moment a phone is ready, with a one-minute minimum per session. Parked phones are free. Free credit has no cash value. Paid credit: owner: how it is bought, invoiced, VAT, refunds, expiry. We announce price changes at least owner: notice period in advance; they never apply to credit already used.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the phones to break the law or other people's rights, including: fraud, spam, creating fake or mass accounts, evading bans or limits of other services, attacking systems, or storing content that is illegal. Don't try to break out of a phone, reach other customers' phones or our infrastructure, or resell the service without our written OK. We may stop phones or suspend accounts that do, and tell you why when we can.
5. Apps you install
You need the right to install and use the apps you put on a phone, and you follow their terms. We don't provide Google Play or Google services.
6. Liability
owner: liability clause for the governing law (e.g. German law: unlimited for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health; otherwise limited to foreseeable damage for breach of essential obligations)
7. Ending
For account closure or data deletion, contact owner: contact email. The dashboard has no self-service account-deletion endpoint. owner: account-closure process, deletion timeframes and backup retention. We can end the service for you with owner: notice period notice, or right away for a serious breach of these terms.
8. Law
owner: governing law and place of jurisdiction
