Mobilebox
Menu

A phone for every agent framework.

Mobilebox works with the agent framework you already use. Python and TypeScript frameworks connect to the hosted Mobilebox MCP server with one URL and a bearer key, and their agents read a cloud phone’s screen, tap, type and install apps. Each integration guide has a runnable example that ran on production.

Android and iPhone over one API.

Pick your framework

One page and one runnable file each.

Every example works the same way.

Your code owns the phone; the agent only drives it.

Read the agent guide
  1. 1

    Create a phone

POST /v1/phones?wait=ready returns it ready, with its id.

  2. 2

    Give the agent the tools

The framework’s MCP client connects to https://mobilebox.dev/mcp; the prompt names the phone id.

  3. 3

    Delete it in finally

DELETE /v1/phones/{id}, also when the run fails, so nothing keeps running.

The connection, for any client

Streamable HTTP, stateless. Read the key from the environment.

Questions

Frameworks, MCP and models.

Which agent frameworks work with Mobilebox?

Any framework with an MCP client, and any that can call a REST API. Tested guides: OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI, browser-use, Mastra, Vercel AI SDK, Claude Agent SDK. MCP clients such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex connect the same way; see the quickstart.

MCP or REST?

MCP when the framework has a remote MCP client: the agent gets every tool with its schema and description. REST when it doesn’t, as with browser-use: wrap the observe and actions endpoints as two tools. Both drive the same phone. See the API reference.

Do I need my own model?

Yes. Your agent and its model do the reasoning, on the provider you already use; Mobilebox supplies the phone and bills only phone-minutes.

Why does the code create and delete the phone?

So every task gets a clean phone and none is left running when a run fails. The agent only drives the phone it was given. Keep one between runs by parking it instead; see fresh or persistent phones.
