Mobilebox

A mobile sandbox for your AI agent.

A mobile sandbox is a phone in the cloud that your agent can use and you can reset. With Mobilebox, your agent creates an Android phone, reads the screen, taps by number and installs your app, then parks or deletes the phone.

Android phones are self-serve. iPhone and real devices are set up on an onboarding call.

How it works.

Your agent supplies the reasoning. Mobilebox supplies the phone.

The agent guide
  1. 1

    Create a phone

One call over REST or the hosted MCP server. Boot time is free.

  2. 2

    Read the screen, then act

observe returns the screen as numbered elements. act runs up to 20 taps, typing and swipes, then returns the new screen.

  3. 3

    Park or delete

Parking stops billing and keeps apps, data and logins for the next run. Delete when you want a clean phone.

Every phone, one API

The same calls on each, so your agent's code doesn't change.

Questions

What a mobile sandbox is, and what this one does.

What is a mobile sandbox?

A phone your agent can use without touching yours: its own apps, data and settings, created on demand and reset or deleted when the task is done. People also call it a phone sandbox or a cloud phone.

Is it the same as a code sandbox like E2B?

No. A code sandbox runs commands and files on Linux. A mobile sandbox runs phone apps, and your agent works through the screen. Many agents use both: see which AI sandbox a task needs.

Is there an API for cloud Android phones?

Yes. A REST API described in OpenAPI, and a hosted MCP server with 12 tools for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other clients. Both use the same API key. See the API reference.

Can my agent test mobile web pages?

Yes. Install a mobile browser and open the page. Firefox, Brave and DuckDuckGo installed and opened on a Mobilebox phone in our 4 November 2026 app check.

Can it use apps on a phone for me?

That's a phone agent: your agent operates apps on the phone the way you would. Keep it to your own app or your own accounts: app automation.

What does it cost?

$0.01 per ready phone-minute, billed per second with a one-minute minimum. Boot time and parked phones are free. Google Play, SMS and a public ADB or shell are not included. See pricing.
